I’ve produced and directed documentaries for most of the major broadcasters - BBC1, 2 & 4, Channel Four, Five, National Geographic, Discovery, History and Smithsonian Channel.

I specialise in science, history and adventure documentaries but also have plenty of credits in observational documentary, factual, current affairs and even children’s. What I love is turning difficult subjects into fascinating and compelling TV.

I am particularly skilled at leading film expeditions to remote and difficult areas of the world and have worked on all seven continents from the Arctic to the Antarctic, in jungles and deserts, up mountains and volcanoes and of course the odd city.

Equally happy directing a crew or self shooting I‘ve worked with many high profile presenters over the years but am also experienced at getting the best from non-professionals as well.
